The Saqhoute Story

Saqhoute (pronounced saqoot سَكّوت), is a Cairo-based slow fashion brand focusing on circularity, artisanal handwork and zero-waste. The brand launched in 2018 with the aim of supporting the individuality and ambition of the modern-day woman by offering her transparently-produced, ready-to-wear garments that are transferable from one occasion to the next, enabling her to balance her family, career and social endeavours effortlessly through her versatile capsule wardrobe.

The Rhodakina Crop Top is a multiway piece in off-white cotton that comes with contrasting double straps and edges in dark peach as well as hand-embroidery of peaches. This Top is an ode to Virgo, August - September (Coptic: Thoth) and it is the harvest month of Olives (Greek: Elaiai) and Peaches (Greek: Rhodakina).

The Rhodakina Crop Top can be worn in three ways, with the embroidery shown at the front, reversed as a crop top with the embroidery shown on the back or tied to the front with a knot for a more figure-defining look.
